Excerpt:  ...Y&R actors are soap opera royalty

And, are absolutely, dedicated to their craft

They display dramatic realism, even though

It's all directed from a scripted draft

Each Y&R story thread is carefully woven

With exciting twists and turns  

Every episode is distinctively

Chock-full of lessons to learn

Y&R is a soap opera dynasty

The one others emulate

So as to also become, first rate

It is the real, soap sizzle

Of daytime television, all done, effortless

Hence, Y&R is honored

With a special award, The Effervesce...

The author, Deborah Young created the Effervesce Award, the soap sizzle award, my Daytime Award, to pay tribute to The Young and the Restless.  The Effervesce Award may not be the Daytime Emmy Award; however, the Effervesce Award eternally recognizes The Young and the Restless as the number one daytime show.  Deborah Young dedicates Y&R, The Young and the Restless, Acting At Its Best; Yes  visual poetry, the Effervesce Award, to honor the entire Young and the Restless cast and the production team, including:
