Lonnie Lee Young; Sho' 'Nuf, We'll Miss You Visual Poem Image Bust on Stand
...Lonnie Lee Young, a baby boomer, extraordinaire
Leo the Lion, you truly hurtled thru life with an air of flare
No matter what, all of the records will say
The obvious signs prove, you certainly did, pass this way
Top, thin-clad, track star; fuh, sho' 'nuf; we'll miss, you
Your unique humor and opinions were honest and true
Your master mechanic skills hailed you as one of the best
And, your cheetah like sprintin' placed you, above the rest
You were a genuine human being
Full of charity, empathy and authenticity
Hence, Mr. Lonnie Lee Young
Your existence was notable, I do, decree
Check it out, a bust on a stand
Forever, pays tribute to your 56 years, with, dignity

Visual Poetry Image The Baby Boomers Creed Visual Poem - Spinning Top On Table
...We are baby boomers, we are
We are the generation most creative and diverse, by far
Brand new paths, we have set, all ablaze
And, we have transformed each and every, life phase
In elementary school we learned
From Dick, Jane, Sally, Spot and Puff
We entertained ourselves, we played rough
And sometimes fell on our duff
Hide-n-seek, ring around the roses
Red light, green light, sling shots and blind man's bluff
And, toy makers provided us with a whole lotta, stuff
The slinky, yo-yos, hula-hoops, spinnin'- spinning tops
Marbles and jacks were way off, the cuff...
